My horn does not work and if pressed will blow the 15 amp fuse for the horn-a/c in the fuse box under the hood. This started after someone broke into the truck via the passenger side door (knocked out the keyhole, still not fixed) and apparently tried to hotwire the truck. I found some wires melted under the steering column... . replaced those, but the then... the above mentioned problem. Not a big deal, but irritating and other people driving the vehicle always blow that fuse by trying the horn.

I hate thieves. You have my sympathy. Normally, I would say that you have a short inside the horn. If this was happening to me, I'd unplug/disconnect the horn. Then if the fuse still blew, I'd know that the problem was in the wiring.
