2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission A/C fuse update

Had posted the other day under A/C blown 10 amp fuse. Updated that post yesterday with findings from the garage. They sais it was the coil shorting out however they couldn't get into it then would have to come back also said probably a Dodge part. I checked with a friend who is the parts manager for a local jeep dealer computer showed the clutch assembly and commpressor seperate. neither were available. back ordered. The mechanic had suggeted maybe better to buy whole thing. Checked with friend at NAPA, they sell only complete unit $544 with exchange and system had to be drained and line changed for warranty. They were available had to be ordered. Today I go to check myself again and my clutch engaged and didn't blow fuse. Checked back with mechanic who said that when direct power was supplied to when he tested it it did engage he thought maybe something was stuck in it and it dislodged. I am going to wait and see what happens before I order a new one. Also checked with a dodge dealer he to said they were back ordered no eta when they would be avaliable he also stated it is 2 seperate parts.
