I know this is going to sound like a broken record but here goes. My a/c is losing its charge it started out needeing topped off once a year now i can put in a can or two and its gone two days later. I have added the dye and can not find it anywhere but on the shroeder valve used to charge it. I had my blower motor out and cleaned in there. There was some small junk some even damp but none of it had any green tint what so ever. I flushed out the evap. box and put it back together. The only place I can see any dye is on that valve. I read a post where someone said they had shaft seals leaking on the compressor. Can I buy the shaft seals and the parts for the valve somewhere? Thanks Adam

I am sure you can get the shaft seals somewhere, we could order them from Deere for the equipment. But due to the tolerances etc inside those pumps, nobody would even think of touching them, they would just trade them for a reman rather than trying to change the seals and risk haveing to refil the system again. If you could get some part numbers for th ecompressor, mfg or other retailer a deere dealer should be able to cross them to a compressor adn get you the seals. It takes some work to do it, but it is possible.
