Hey Guys,
As you may have seen in my previous post, I was involved in a wreck. I have another question before the truck goes into the shop. I'm hoping that they don't total it. :{
The air conditioning was working when the wreck happened. The truck is not drivable, so I have not driven it since. I started it up today to make sure the batteries stay charged, etc. I realized that the a/c was not working. It did get a little cool, but not like it should have been for running for 30 minutes. When I looked closer, I noticed that the compressor was constantly cycling on and off. It would engage for about three seconds, then turn off for five or six seconds, then repeat the same thing over and over.
Some brief history: The truck took a hard impact to the front driver side tire, breaking the steering rod, crusing control arms, shoving the axle back into the oil pan, etc.
That being said, I also found a connector with a cut wire that looks like it may have gotten snarled in the fan in the wreck. It is directly under the a/c compressor, but I can't figure out where it goes. The a/c compressor already has a wire connected to the back of it near the bottom side.
Here is a photo of the wire. Does anybody recognize it? This is a photo taken from under the truck, near center, toward the passenger side frame rail just under the a/c compressor:

Thoughts?
Thanks again,
