Did anyone ever figure out the problems with A/C blowing colder one side versus the other. Meaning it may blow the desired temp on the drivers side but the a/c would just barely be cold on the passenger. Found a few searches with issue but never found a cure.

I had this problem for a couple of years. Prior to the summer, my dealer fixed this problem for me. They totally drained the system and refilled it to full specification. Apparently, they use a mixture that includes some oil and they believe the oil settles and somehow precludes cooling on one side. This was done at the direction of DC's area warranty representative.

While it sounds crazy to me - it has worked throughout the full summer and to this day. This may be an annual service, I don't know.

I had the exact same problem, cold on drivers side and warmer on passenger side. Like said above was low on Freon. Topped her off and she is cold on both sides. Its been a couple months now and she is still blowing cold. Check your pressure.

I took mine in to a local shop and he said it couldn't be low freon because they both share the same condenser. He thought it was the passenger side 'blend' door that controlled the blend of outside vrs. inside air. Anyhow, something like that, he checked the system for pressure, which he said wouldn't make a difference, and it was low. So he added Ice 32 (or something like that) AC additive and then filled the system back up to spec pressure. I forget the amount, but it was a big deal and he said there had to be a leak so he added dye. Anyhow, the passenger side then blew as cold as the driver. I never had any problems with my '03!!!

For the past 2 summers mine would freeze up and not blow any air, then this summer I noticed the passenger side blowing much warmer air. With advice from the company mechanic, I went and bought a DIY AC fill Kit with guage hooked it up checked pressure. It was low so I added 1 can of R134 and that bought the pressure up to tolerance. No more freeze ups or and passenger side is back to normal temp. Very easy to do, fill kit with one can of freon was less than $20. Pressures vary to ambiant temp and were listed in the directions on the guage kit.
