Ok, little frustrated here. Went out to crank up the truck, turned on the A/C, compressor kicked on and fan blows, but no cold air
I understand that a tight system is a happy system. This particular A/C system has had 3 failures in 4. 5 years. First failure was a manifold, which was replaced. Second failure was related to a leak in the compressor, which was fixed by replacing it. I haven't diagnosed this failure yet.
Is there a better "system" or set of components out there that people are using? I hate to say it, but I had better service out of the A/C systems in my Brand C vehicles and our foreign jobs than I have out of this truck. After searching the forums, I haven't found a true "fix" that's any better than what I've done so far.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
