Recently borrowed vacuum line that runs along the cowling
to HVAC off of my 2001 Dodge 3500 with auto. Used it to
check another trucks HVAC and vacuum problems. My
HVAC quit working as expected while vacuum was removed.
Checked other truck and solved that problem but now have
air conditioner not cooling with my truck after reconnecting
vacuum line. HVAC seems to be working fine but the a/c
compressor clutch keeps cycling on and off as though losing
all of it's freon. Cold air was present before performing this
stunt. Since I disrupted the vacuum lines, is their a switch or
something that needs to be reset??? Want to check these
things out before I take it to a high dollar repair shop.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated... ... Thanks...
