2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission a/c question

I know this is a stupid question, but here it is.



I need to have my a/c recharged soon. Here is my question (s)



1. If I have a leak, does it still leak when not using the a/c or defroster ?



2. If it leaks when not using the a/c, will it also leak when the truck is not running ? Or only while it is running ?

Here's a dumb look. Free even!

Yes, it will still leak if it's an ordinary pinhole. A dicey seal might only leak under high pressure.

If your windshield fogs up inside when it's been sitting, your evap probably has a pinhole. Like mine.

Yep, no fog. Just stops blowing cold after about 5 or 6 months
