Hi Again,
My AC works only very marginally. Here`s the lowdown. Truck is idling fully warmed up with the AC blower on high and temp knob turned all the way cold. The compressor is activating the clutch for about 4 seconds and then disengaging for about 5 seconds. I have a psi gauge on the low side schrader valve and it shows 25 psi when the clutch is engaged and 45 psi when disengaged. It would behave this way forever and at the same time blow only 80-85* air. Is it possible to not have enough R-134A in there and this would cause the engage-disengage thing? Or, ??
Does anyone have any ideas? Oh yes, it is about 80* outside.
Richard
