A/C wigging!

My brothers truck is a 93 and the A/C will work really good for a while and then for no apprearent reason it stops blowing cold... and then it will get cold again, It seems to be inconsistant.

Any ideas???

Having mine looked at right now for this problem, mine doesn't really blow very cold at all though. The temp changes though, from cool to not very cool. Am going to try a couple of things and I'll let you know.

My 93 is doing the same thing. . Runs super cool at first then semi cool after 15 mins or so. . I notice that it drains condensation for a long time after it's shut off. I figure it's icing up on the coils or the nozzle is clogging and bleeding off for a while after... . I'm also interested in any info about this... ... ... Thanks... ... . Chuck

Hey guys,

My truck does this too. I notice a large puddle under consdenser after shutdown. I think it's freezing up.



Try this,

when it gets warm, turn up the temp just a bit to melt it. It works on mine, but if you hear of a better fix I'd like to know of it.
