Competition A couple of pulls coming up in my neck of the woods...

... . There is one in Reedsville W. V. on 8-1,no details,I just heard about it from the fella at A. D. T. (nice guy). Also the local County fair is coming up,not real sure on the date yet,probably the 12th or 13th(middle of the week) ). I've lost the past 2 years to a girl in a stacked Dodge(my kind of woman ),and a STINKIN' PHORD . The Ford guys in this area think that cause a PSD has won,a LOWLY CUMMINS has no chance . It would be nice to show these yocals a thing or two. I will keep you guys posted with further details as I get them. Now if I can get my pump troubles ironed out ... Doug

Let me know what your plans are... I'm in Grafton WV and wouldn't mind attending this pull. Just competed in one yesterday at the www.lewiscountyfair.com Placed 2nd in both the stock and open classes... don't know how... luck maybe. haha

Josh,if I get my ATS manifold on and my other problems fixed I'll definatly be there. Good job on the 2nd place finish,I've only pulled at the Garrett Co. fair and only managed to get 3rd both times. Do you know where exactly the track is in Reedsville???Somebody said they thought it was by J&J homes on rt. 7... Doug

Just talked to Doug at ADT and it is next to J&J on rt. 7. He also said that Dave Mitchell might make it. I have never seen that truck pull in person so I hope he makes it... . Doug

Just a bump to the top,and say that It starts at about 7p. m. ,Diesels should start pulling at 9ish. Probably wouldn't hurt to get there a little early to register... Doug

I am seriously tempted to hook the 12-Valver up to the sled but by the time I get there tonight, the pulls will already be in progress...

Well a Doug won the street class ,the other Doug did good but some white Dodge from Ohio showed up and pulled the sled into the parking lot . The Dura-max in the street class kinda surprised me when he pulled 296,nobody was getting close. I was next to the last puller and the guy measuring the hitches said"you can't let a chevy win"I told him I'd give it all I had. Hooked up started bouncing,was thinking about getting out of it,but it smoothed out,and I pulled 301 feet Not bad for only my 3rd pull. Got a trophy and $100... Doug
