I already did a search and couldn't come up w/ the answer so now I guess I'll just ask.

I just bought a 97 5spd that already had the banks stinger plus on it (14cm E. H, Filter, Plate and Exhaust I believe) and I'm really considering installing the 4K GSK.

I think I have a handle on the injector pump spring install but I'm alittle concerned about the HD exhaust spring install. Do the instuctions go over that aswell or could somebody give me a run though? Even better would be a web site w/ pictures but I wont be picky. I've done some mechanic work on gassers but never messed w/ cylinder heads before so I don't know how to adjust the lashing and what I need to torque everything to. Should I just do the spring install then let a diesel mechanic do the work on the head instead? If so aprox. cost/time?

O Ya, is there a particular book (like factory service manuals or chiltons) I should pick up for my new baby?

Thanks in advance,

-Mike

Mike, do a search for the install or get a service manual ($90. 00) we worth the money, the spring install seems hard till you do #1 Cly then it's not bad cause #6 is next as it is the companion Cly then 2/5 and 3/4. I figure you going to get the 4k's from Piers so ask them for the instructions for doing it unless you going to get the service manual, without the big springs I could float the valves at 3400.
