Thanks for the info. Interestingly, I just had my windshield replaced (took out a bird last year) and never noticed it. From the shape of the filter from Geno's it looks like it would be tough to manufacture one myself, so that may be the way to go. It will be tough to justify the $60 expense, however. The fresh air intake is a different story, though. Just remove the wiper arms, the two screws on the black plastic and the entire piece slides out over the engine compartment. Seems kind of strange that they put the fresh air intake on the hot side of the engine. I would have thought it would be in front of the engine or near the headlights.
