All my mods are in sig below. I would like to get my truck into the mid 13's. I'm sure I could get it into the upper 14's as it sits.

I know I need a turbo, but what else will get me to the upper 400 to low 500 hp bracket? Also at which stage of mods should I get a ported head? I've come from a 24 valve to twelve valve. Now I need to learn. This is a daily driver and will not tow anything.

One last ? What size housing is on my turbo? It is stock.

Thanks Ken

kenny, since you already have a pretty nice clutch, 3kgsk, gauges, etc... . i would check out some nice 370 injectors and a twins setup.....

Here is what a friend of mine has in his 97(215 pump'd truck) and what the dyno results were.

#10 plate

4k GSK

370 injectors

PDR HX40/16

SBC 13" CON OFE

Everything is(plate,AFC housing, star wheel) is full forward. . and I think he even had his seat full forward. .

This above combination got him 452hp...

The housing on your truck is 12cm if its still stock. .

RHARVEY, That sounds just about right, I also have everything full forward but the seat. I'm guessing my truck is about 370 to 390. It has the 215 pump and injectors. I think I'll just go and get the 4 k kit and a HX40. I want the truck to be fun, but do not want to break it.

Thanks.

If you don't tow you can get a HX50 from Piers, a lot cheaper than twins. At 500+ H. P. you can use 5" exhaust. I dynoed over 500 H. P. with an H2E turbo, 370's, Piers stoopid pump & BHAF.

I have an ATS trans built by Bob of Bellfower Transmission.
