Hello everyone,

I've Been lurking for several months now reading post and have gathered alot of useful info. I finally subscribed and have a few questions to ask before I start bombing. :D

1: Where is the cheapest place to buy an Edge EZ?

2: Is anyone using Genos boost/Egt. combo gauges? If so how do you like them?

3: Does anyone know of a good shop in the middle TN/Southcentral KY area to take my truck to or buy accessories from?

4: Thanks in advance :)

Kevin,

Bob is right, the Piers price is a great one... I wish I'd have held off just a little longer before buying mine!

Kevin,

I'm running an Autometer 2-gauge A-pillar pod with a Westach combo EGT/boost gauge in one and a Westach combo dual fuel pressure gauge (pre- and post-filter) in the other. The gauges are high quality and work just fine.

I would offer the following (experience learned the hard way):

1. Secure both ends of the rubber hose for the boost gauge with small tie-wraps pulled tightly over the hose behind the barb of the fittings. The rubber hose will blow off under higher boost conditions (we're making 31 PSIG).

2. If you use a Westach fuel pressure gauge, remote-mount the senders. If you're measuring post-filter fuel pressure on a 24V, use a gauge snubber on the post-filter pressure sending unit (I lost 2 to pulsation in 1,000 miles).

Welcome to the TDR - happy BOMBing! :D

Thanks Guys

I ordered an EZ from Pier Performance, gauges from Genos, & an idle controller from Practical Solutions. They should all be here next week except for the EZ. (it should be here tomorrow:) ) Will it be safe to install the EZ before the guages? I don't know if I can wait till next week when the gauges get here;)

Kevin

It'll be fine, EZ is not a major fuel box(enough to make you look like this :D tough). When you get the gauges unplug it to see difference if your curious.
