A Great Big THANK YOU to Floor It Diesel

Had an absolute great time over the weekend up in Lawrence with the folks from FLOOR IT DIESEL. I think the turn out was better than expected, and we all got to watch some awesome trucks on the dyno. The girls cooked up great food, and the company was second to none. Count me in next go around. I still want a tshirt!!!

What were the results? I got to see 2 trucks run, then I had to be in KC by 11:30.

Man, I wish I could have been there. . . I had to leave Lawrence Saturday morning to be at a wedding in Hays that afternoon. I'm glad to hear that things went well, and everyone had a good time! If anyone has any questions about the dyno or how it works, feel free to ask me either online (for the benefit of everyone else with the same question) or privately by e'mail, PM, or phone call.



Expect to see more great things from that little shop in Lawrence!!! John, J. T. , Scott, Keri, and everyone else at Floor It are fantastic people. They were very hospitable during my time there for their training, and are committed to customer service and providing the utmost value to their customers. I'm excited to be a part of their future. Lawrence, KS has a good bunch of people running a fantastic diesel performance shop. If you haven't already, I recommend checking them out!

I will say this about our dyno event, I AM NOT GOING TO BE THE STRAP MAN THE WHOLE DAY NEXT TIME... . lol... i could hardly move sunday.



But things went great, we had no problems, no break downs, and everything went extremely smooth. We were averaging about 1 truck every 30 min thats, backing onto dyno, strapping down, setting comp up for the run, and unhooking and pulling out of shop. We dynoed 21 trucks total sat that includes the red rocket (Floor It Sled Puller).

The basics results were

(sorry but can't remember his name) 03 Duramax 482



We at Floor It sincerely appreciate all that participated and/or spectated. John is the man. Or at least Keri lets him think he is most of the time. :-laf Hey Russell, Scott said you were looking a bit peaked by the end of the day. Or was it a bit blackened.

I will put it this way, it was all i could do to crawl from the bed to the basement to watch football on the couch all day sunday... LOL. When my wife said "you couldn't have worked that hard". . i simply showed her my raw (literally) knees and the burns on my right shoulder... . she didn't say anything else
