I was fortunate enough to meet Bill Kondolay today at B&F Transmissions where Bill taught the mechanics there about his valve body and new torque converter. During this time, the valve body was being installed on my truck along with a MagHytec pan (I was also fortunate enough to meet Roy... as in the guy who builds the MagHytec pan!) The guys at B&F were great to work with as well... a kind thank you to those gentlemen and an "I'll be back"!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Both Bill and Roy are straight-shooters. Both are extremely knowledgable, honest and just plain friendly. These are the kind of people I encourage everyone on this site to support! Bill truly "went out of his way" to support his customers... like 12 hours out of his way! Thanks Bill!!

PRODUCT-WISE: After I drove Bill's truck, all I could say is DAMN! #ad
oh, yeah... and I WANT, I WANT! #ad
Bill has redefined the term "synergy". The torque converter and valve body together make that auto run like a high performance machine... As you start to rediscover those muscles in your neck, you totally forget you are moving about 3 tons worth of truck down the road. The shift points were perfect and you can feel all that torque being put down on the road. I can't say enough other than "who do I make the check out to again?" Very impressive.

I think by now everyone is well aware of the MagHytec pans and thier benefits. The parts are of the highest quality and there should be nothing stopping anyone on this site from putting one on immediately.

I'm very happy with the way the truck drives and shifts with the new valve body (and pan). Getting to meet Bill Kondolay and Roy was icing on the cake - having the gurus there making sure your truck is being done correctly gave me a warm fuzzy all over! Christmas came early this year!!

Thanks again guys!

Back to top as this is important!

Get ready for a torque converter revolution! A visual comparison of the stock "turbine" and the other brands milled versions of the stock unit versus Bill's should be enough to sell you.

I'll be placing my order asap!

Bill is heading for Oregon now as we have concluded our two dayer here in the diesel Ram capitol of California. Yesterday Mike's truck got a new TC and valve body and today everybody got to drive it along with Bill's truck. The Ram Runners turned out to listen to some automatic transmission philosophy and techno speak, check out the cutaway TC and floorboard Bill's truck. We are a bit sunburned but I think we will survive. Thanks to Bill K. of course, Arlan and Bill from SoCal, Huff from the dark side, the Ram Runners, San Jose Symbol/Mike for the use of their huge parking lot too. The TC is realll coolll and I like the concept that BK has brought to the table. I'm sure you will be hearing much more about this from now on.

Does bill have website??

Very interested.

Hey Bill, many thanks for sharing this with those of us who couldn't make San Jose or Texas later this year. The pictures and words say it all 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. I'm looking forward to the video! - I hope you've filed with the US patent office, so your work gets the recognition it deserves... . I'm already saving up. Roll on March 2001 #ad

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the kind words but i was not alone on this project. The TC design that you guys drove and appreciated was the brainchild of not only myself but Steve Marshall of TCS.
I chose Steve because of his TC expertise & TCS because of their professional ethics.

TCS has been building steel stators for drag racing, mud boggers, tractor pulls, and pro street rods for many years.

The steel stator design has been around for the last 15 years and has a proven track record. (for lack of a better term).

It has been known to withstand up to 2000+ HP without breaking its fluid coupling.

Steve and i knew that the steel stator if properly tailored for the Cummins could more than meet the challange of the Cummins Engine.

We know that this is the TC of the future for the Dodge Cummins Diesel and have no doubt that this will eliminate the current milled stator technology the performance industry so long ago discarded.

I cant say enough about John and Linda Watkins my American partners from Pacific Automotive Warehouse and their total trust and belief in me and of course lets not forget the continuous supply of R & D money. It takes a huge out lay of cash to take on a project of this magnitude.
thanks again guys,
Bill
