A little fun with LED's

There has been several post reguarding LED lights, so I shoot a few night pictures to show you how they look

This is my front grill with a huge Cummins "C"

and this is a close-up of the side marker lights on a dually, this are 12 LED units.

Do you have any pics taken from further away where you can see the whole front end of the truck at night? I'd try a shot with the parking and maybe foglights turned on

I have this one, it is at night with the parking lights on. The 525 Piaa's are not on, they have a LED which back-lights them for effect.

I highly recommend changing out the marker lights on a dually. I replaced all of my marker lights like y-knot did... 12-led units on both dually fenders as well as the OEM 3 light on the rear. It totally changes the look and effect of the truck. Personally I also enjoy not having an orange glare in my mirrors at night from the amber dual markers.

Well right now "next" would be a water/methenol injection kit I am getting from Snow Performance through the group purchase. After that I don't know, any suggestion?

How about an exhaust tip with LED's in it? You won't need a switch if you're running enough fuel.....

You know I was thinking of putting 3-4 RED led's just inside the tip, and wiring them so they come on with the water injectors. Thought it might look like flames with the red lights and the diesel smoke, what you think?

Nice looking light set up, but a word of caution had some friends put blue lights in the grill and got pulled over for impersonating a police vehicle.



Sound kind of stupid, but there are laws like that. It can also be probable cause to pull you over.



Just trying to give you a heads up. Looks very cool though.

Depends on which State you are in. Some States use Red lights only, some use Blue only, and Some use Red & Blue.

I love the setup. I'll have to get some pix of mine, with the chicken lights under the bumper! I haven't been able to come up with the lights for the fenders (replacement bulbs, I presume). PM me with info, please!
