On my way to work this morning, a guy I work with pulls up beside me on the highway (going 60 at the time... he's got a Mustang Cobra) and he obviously wants to play. He knows I've been doing some work on my truck. I gave him a little signal and gave it some moderate throttle. I saw him drop it into fourth and then he was no longer there. The suspense builds... I pretty much left him. We got into work and he said he used the wrong gear. I told him he should have just left it in 5th like I did. lol. He just said d*mn ... Thing is, I'm still running the stock clutch. The new one is on order and I can't wait to start putting it all to the ground. The Cummins in these trucks give you the best of all worlds... hauling, towing, fuel economy, and the acceleration of a sports car. It would just be nice to have a little more faith in the fuel system... but that's another story.
