I realize that it is just a small window of the crack that the camera is looking through, but it makes it appear that the crack is perfectly straight across.

Wow. That's a drag. Was it a stone or anything? A chip stress riser? Usually they're vertical and never laser straight.

I had an impact to the right lower edge of the windshield, about 2 inches from the A pillar, about 1 month ago. The day of the video----it traveled to within 4 inches of the left side A pillar.

Kentucky has free windshield replacement.....with $0.00 deductible. I am sure progressive commercial can handle a windshield or two since my commercial policy annual premium is $7,501.01 :-laf

It is relatively close to home. I was on the way to GatorMade trailers to get a stack of trailers for delivery to our retail store in Mt. Orab, OH. The area is along HWY 461 near Somerset, KY.

I just drove through there about 2 hours ago. You ought to try that hill when it's snowing and somebody has to stop to pull in to the Mack dealer or the bus garage on the left.

They just started removing the trees to the right of that ramp last week in preparation for replacing the bridge on rt-70 and redesigning the exit ramps. Should be a 2 year project from what I am hearing but it needs done.

So what was the outcome, did the guy ever stop? I don't recommend chasing down an unknown stranger. Unless there was an actual collision, some type of damage or injury, let it go. At this point everyone is safe. An altercation can go south really quick.
