A little pride for us 2nd gen guys, Found this one on my way home for lunch, hes not yet a TDR member but I gave him a print out TDR flyer to read while in tow... but he was pulling a 30' gooseneck horse trailer (unloaded) and along side the road with the hood up so I turned around to see if I could help... he said he was good as he got back into the truck so I took off home for lunch.

On my way back to work to get some dimensions I spotted the truck darn near in the middle of the road (back road this time) and he was unhooked from his trailer and tried to push it outa the way. Well his wife came with the POWER CHOKE and hooked onto the trailer, while I PROUDLY opened teh toolbox to reveal my "Cummin Not Strokin" decal on the lid. Anyways I towed him back to the dealership where he explained that it would just die for no reason. I havent been keeping up on the 3rd gen problems but I told him to check out our site tonight and that he should join and get way more info than what the dealers will ever tell him.

03 6speed manual 4x4 dually with 90,000mi & 5" stacks (Id tell ya how it sounded but it wasnt running :-laf )

Cycle the key three time to check for codes. There aren't any plagueing problems that would cause it to randomly die. Let us know what they find if you hear.

Nice work, I can feel the pride. Its always nice to help one of our own. :)

Maybe not as much fun as having a Choke on the end of the strap ;)
