Building a Remington 700P in .308, any suggestions?

Hey, this ain't the same type of war and for totally different reasons.

How do you know Patton wouldn't call bs on Bush and his boys anyway.

My great uncle... . Alexander Stiller fought side by side with Patton in WW1, both of then got shot up pretty bad.

Patton called my great uncle at the beggining of WW2 and asked if he would be his gaurd, drive his jeep and be side by side again. He agreed at the age of 47.

The papers were fudged, he had to go through basic training again and then got shipped via Pattons command to Europe to be his first aid.

I can tell you this, my great uncle would have seen through the present situation in Iraq and call bs himself.

Blow back the smoke and mirrors and see it for what it really is, not someone hijacking a dead American hero's mantra and try to say he would want our boys over there too.

Patton had some morals... ... ... . the present Bush administration are for the most part swines and liars... ... ... . there are a lot of Republicans out there that feel that Bush has personal agenda,,,,,,but to scared to say it for fear of not getting voted in again.

I'm no Dem either !!!!!!!

Paul

I'm not sure Patton would have been so diplomatic about it, nor would your great uncle have been... ... ... ... ... . obviously the Gene pool has been watered down in the years since his service to this country :-laf

"I'm no Dem either !!!!!!!"

Quit typing like one then... ... ... ... ... ... ... . :-laf

The only smoke is the cloud put up by the DNC controlled mainstream newsmedia, that and what came off those towers on 911..... how soon we forget.

I see this thread being moved... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Sorry to offend anybody,

I agree, terroism has to be stomped... ... but personal agenda has also been mixed in the mean time... ..... just hate to see Patton's name being used to support what's happining right now.

Ok just for fun What is Bush's secret agenda you speak of. Let me guess you watched Farenheit 911 and thought it was a documentary. Yep so was Spinal Tap :-laf

AK what video did you watch. There is no reference to either war or GW. I thinks your Bush hatin is gettin in the way of your thinkin.

Sorry

Yes I watched Far. 911... ... ... but most of us know that Michael Moore is a professional fabricator trying to proove a conspiracy theory with his own highly censored video mixed with his own beliefs.

I guess I'm speaking of Bush's hidden agendas concerning his support of faith based inititives and the Federal govt. $$ getting in the mix.

Fair enough. I was just curious. I was thinking you were talking about oil$$ which I think is a ridiculous accusation.

Micheal Moore is a mess.

I agree Michael Moore caters to some of the folks who need a reason to believe the way they do.

Oil $$ is debateable all day... ... . I don't see us immediatly making out good on the oil topic... ... ... . but it sure seems that Halliburton is comming out nicely in the black.

Call me a dreamer if you want... ..... but I see a conection between Bush's faith based inititives, which in my opion is unconstitutional, and "recruting" more people who "believe" therefore more people who will get on the badnwagon and think all of Islam is the "wrong belief" as so mant religious zealots think.

I'm not the best at speaking my mind..... but the more folks who "believe" gives the Pres. more support in his agenda.

"His agenda" I cannot exactly pin down to any one thing right now. It encompasses many of his own personal beliefs which seem to make it's way into American tax dollars.

I've never been a big supporter of Govt. run agencies that waste US tax $. Many of our social services for poor in this country have been mismanaged and wastefull to say the least. I think (maybe that's my fault), that reorganizing US tax $$ to religious supported groups is wrong. SEPARATION of church and State is not being paid much attention to with the current addministration.

I was born and raised Catholic in Akron, OH... ... left the church when I was 14 for my own personal reasons... ... ... . I don't cast judgement over those who believe in religion, I believe in the golden rules also. But there are many who think that if you don't believe that you are "wrong" and you must not have a good heart.

I voted for Ross Perot back when he was running, He showed both sides in politics thier pitfalls and pointed out how political coersment (sp. ?) ran deep in politics on both sides. I did think he aileinated himself from many because of his different approach to clean up Govt. spending and clean up the useless spending.

I'm skeptical that George W. has used the American people for other reasons than "OUR" interests.

This is the great lie that the left has quoted so often that most people accept it as fact. You will not find that phrase, or even the concept, anywhere in our Constitution.

In fact, if you read the writings of our founding fathers (the ones who wrote the Constitution), you will discover they all wanted to keep the state out of the church... not the church out of the state.

Bob

As far Haliburton is concerned why are they lossing money and trying to get out of contracts in Iraq if it was such a sweet heart deal.

Pawpaw,

Not too long ago one of the media 'reporters' kept using this 'separation... ... . ' phrase, so I went online and searched for and printed the Constitution and all of its amendments. Prior to printing all of it, I did a search for those words - 'separation of church and state', and any other combination thereof. You are absolutely correct - IT AIN'T THERE - ANYWHERE.

However, until we can get these same 'reporters' to stop using this phrase and admit their error, it won't change.

Wayne,

I agree completely, but they won't ever stop. It's not that the media doesn't "know" it's wrong, it IS that they're on the other side.

So, you're retarded Air Force? Me too! 22 years - MSgt. Secure Communications
