Congrats and welcome! No need to fret about those 770km... drive it hard now! Latch onto something heavy and drive to Vancouver and back just for the heck of it... that's the proper way to break in these motors!

Congratulations! Sounds like a beautiful truck. Get some touch up paint. I love my patriot blue but it looks like heck when it chips.
As far as checking your air pressure, can you get your hand in from the front or rear to remove the valve cap? Do you have a double ended tire gauge? They work good on duals if the wheels are lined up right.

Congrats and welcome aboard! I don't know much about duallies so I can't help there.

extensions work well. . zip tie to the outside one. . you might weigh it and put same weight [cut tape a weight] 180° from the stem or there might be a slight balance issue. . I don't worry myself as the 3500 ride is a little ruff anyway so you'll never notice. . IMHO
also replace the original shocks ASAP with Rancho 9000 and you'll be thanking me #ad

set the fronts at 3 and the rears at 2 for starters

Well I finally did it! New 3500-Patriot Blue-ETH-DEE. I went in on Tuesday to START the process of checking prices at the dealerships in Saskatoon, Sk and area. I intended to order but the last order date on 3500's was March 30. So check the inventory in Western Canada. Found one 700 kms away equiped very close to what I would have ordered. The salesman gave me a price I could not refuse. Could be prepped and delivered by Thursday!!! No waiting with anticipation. Picked it up Thusday evening with 770 kms on odometer(I hope these have been tender respectful kms). I have 400 kms on and looking for any excuse to put on more.
I have been lurking around this site for at least 4 months and have learned a lot about my new truck even before I purchased. I want to thank all of you who make this forum possible and those who contribute to the knowledge we all can use. I hope that I can add to this at sometime in the future when I have some experience to share. For now all I have is questions. The first one is on the dual rear wheels, how do check the air preassure on the inside tires as this is something I am a particular about with the some of the loads I haul. The ovals on the rims are to small to get my hand through and remove the valvestem cap. My first guess is to put on an extension long enough to go through an oval on the outside rim. I have noticed that some big rigs have braided extensions that fasten to the hub so they will not sling around. I don't belive with the wheel covers on our Rams this is possible.
Sorry about the long post but I must share the good news!!! TIA.
