Has anyone with a tan interior left there a-pillar gauge mount black. I was thinking of paiting it but it does cover everything up. My have a custom look to it!? Just curious. .

A-Pillar

Just installed my tripple pod and am waiting for fuel pressure gauge from Geno's, (back orderd), were using them up faster than they can get them. Back to your question, what ever your happy with. I have a98. 5 with grey interior & it does look fine, I even thought of painting the right one black, However I orderd a can of paint from stealer. I'm making mine gray. enjoy.

I bought the paint for both my dad's truck, and mine, they look real good painted,it only takes 5 minutes, and costs 8 bucks ofr so for the can,it really finishes off the job.

Automotive paint store for the spray paint (vinyl dye), some auto parts houses also. dries in a few min. and well worth the tine. Now I did not paint mine, but w/ dark grey can't tell. With the tan it would look:( if not painted to match.

Since the search is down. :( I was also wanting to know where you all got your tan paint to match. I can't find any here, but I do remember this topic before but I can't use the search. That is why I would like to leave it black. But it would look stupid with the tan tweater cover sticking out of it. Thank you for the responses, but I think I will paint it.

3dracer,

If your interior is camel/tan, I think you'll find that the A-pillar is Camel—P/N 04864437 at the Mopar parts counter.

Paint Part #'s

Here are the Mopar part numbers for spray painting your A-pillar:

Agate: 82201399

Mist Gray: 04796190

Camel: 04864437

Hope this helps someone out there!

I bought a rattle can of SEM Flexible Plastic Paint at my local body shop supply store. The tan color matched my interior perfectly. Wiped it with urethane reducer to clean and prep (soften) the surface to bond with the paint.

I don't know if the Mopar paint is a flexible coating.

They look like too much of an aftermarket add-on when they're not painted. Painted looks like it was done that way from the factory.

going to get the paint tomorrow. From my "5-star" dealer. Hope they can red the p/n. Thank you all.

I love TDR.

Which Banjo bolt to buy for F/P gauge

I am going to break down for the Banjo bolt. I am installing Auto meter electronic and I want to put it before filter on my 98. 5 in the banjo bolt. I want to buy one from Genos but not sure which ones to buy. That is all I want to do for now. I don't really need all of them do I?

Banjo BoltOn the 98

On the '98 24 V you don't need a Banjo bolt. Just remove the 1/8" pipe plug on top of your fuel filter cover, the one to the left ,after the filter.
