2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission A-Pillar Grab Handle

I wish I had a grab handle on the a pillar to assist my ascent into the cab. genos has an a pillar replacement with one gauge placement which would suit my needs perfectly as I'm about to get a fuel pressure gauge, however, this shows it's only for 03 and up. I have an 02. is there an aftermarket a pillar grab handle out there? thanks in advance.

The 02's did not come with an A pillar grab handle but they are equipped for a grab handle that goes in the headliner above the door. My 96 came with them both the drivers and pass side but they must have pulled them out to save a couple bucks on my 01. The mounts are there under the headliner and they are even predrilled if I remember. You can buy the handle I think mine was 20ish from the local dealer.

Hmm, interesting that your 01 doesn't have an A-pillar handle, mine does but only on the passenger side.

My 02 has an A pillar for the passenger side and nothing for the driver.

Yes my bad (I was thinking of only the driver side since op was talking about that). The pass side has an A pillar grab but not the drivers side.



There are mounts above the headliner on both the pass and driver side for the overhead handles (at least on my late 01).
