A-pillar paint in Boise area?

Anybody around the Boise area have a can of '03 A-pillar paint that they would care to "share"? I ordered my X-Monitor from Geno's yesterday and they no longer carry the paint and tell me that DC discontinued it. BTW, I'd certainly be willing to reimburse you for "my half" of the can.

When I put the pillar in my 96 I just took my old pillar to the local hardware store (or whomever sells paint) and found a can that matched. It happened to be stove paint but you never could tell the diffrence.

Krylon makes a paint just for plastic. It is called Fusion and is available at most hardware and auto stores. Do a search for Krylon Fusion Paint.

I've got a can of paint I used in my 2001 with agate interior. I live in Meridian, you're welcome to use it if it's the right color.

I have a can of the agate also ur more than welcome to use it. I just ordered it from my dealer last week, and painted my taillights so there is plenty left. What color is your interior? Corey

My understaing is the the paint is a new color starting in '03. It's a biege of some description. I think I'll see if I can find a match at the HW store.

Hey 100 Proof, who said that dc discontinued it? What dealers have you tried? I never seem to have a problem with ordering paint from my parts guy at Peterson Stamped in Nampa. I am really interested in why they would do that with an 03 paint The cans only cost around 8 bucks and if you want i can try to order you a can from them for you, i get 15% off because i'm a business link member. Actually, Dan at Geno's told me that when I ordered my X-Monitor (which I installed last night). Let me call my dealer Monday, and if no joy, I'll ask you to take a shot.

I believe I read somewhere on here that the color is called "light taupe". Hope that helps.

Go to the dealer and give them your VIN number, and you can get a can of interior spray paint.
