A-pillar paint

I got myself an Autometer A-pillar with guage pods, and want to paint it to match my existing pillar (dark grey). Where can I get a small can of spray paint to do that? Does DC carry something like that? I don't really want to have it custom-mixed, because I don't need much. Thanks.

It can be purchased from the dealer in a small spray can. They will need to know your trim code.

If you have a mist gray interior (code RC3), the Mopar P/N for a 5 ounce spray-can is 4796190.

If you have the Agate interior the code is LAZ, the part number is 82207399.
One 5oz can is plenty to do the pillar. I done the pillar and a cup smoothie and had some left over. I paid $8. 30 a can back in September of 2000. Hope it helps.

BTW, this Mopar paint is really neat. It's VERY tough and durable. You'll be surprised. It resists scratches and scrapes very well. It also dries very fast.

I just got mine in the mail today and also picked up a can of paint at Dodge, Is there any special cleaning needed for the A - Pilar like paint thinner before you paint them. Thanks

Yes. It should be wiped off with a prep-cleaner before painting.
