Going to sell my 1999 and order new 2004. I want to restore my A-Pillar like new( modified mine for gauges ). Know where one can be bought reasonably? Dealer thinks they are made of gold.

Or better yet; does anyone know how to repair pillar trim. I have four holes about 1/8" and one hole about 3/8". I have spray paint to paint if I can fill holes with epoxy or bondo or something. Any one done this? My A-Pillar trim has tweeter and dealer wants $151 to order one. Can't find one on e-bay.

A cheap way around this is from your Dodge dealer. I paid approx. $30. for a new A-pillar cover for my '98. 5 (without tweeter) to install my triple Gauge Works gauge panel onto. The dealer wanted over $130. (at the time) to purchase a copy of my original (A-pillar cover with tweeter... tweeter installed).

Besides, when adding a triple Gauge Works panel over an OE A-pillar cover (with tweeter), you have to really butcher up the lower portion of the A-pillar cover to eliminate the tweeter protrusion.

I'm not sure if this really helps you...

although, if you originally had the tweeters in the A-pillar panels and now you have "ruined" yours adding gauges that you don't want to let go with the truck, and you are trading it in, maybe it might be prudent (but deceiving) to just replace it with the OE A-pillar cover without the tweeter prior to trading it in.

[I don't personally "play" that way but I thought I'd throw out the idea anyway]
