Just received the Auto-Meter Gauge Works A pillar yesterday. I was wondering how you go about removing the tweeter that's in the factory A pillar. Do you just pull off the factory A pillar but be careful of the tweete wires?? And then how does the tweeter come out? I don't want to break any of those pain in the a$$ clips that you always seem to run into when messing around with dashes and trim work.

Doing it right now. Gently grab the upper A pillar and wiggle and pull out at the same time. There are three wedge clips that hold the A pillar onto the frame. Do not pull too hard, since the tweeter wire is only gives you about 5 inches of free play. Once the A pillar is off, there is a plug that disconnects the tweeter wire. The tweeter is connected via six small clips that hold the tweeter against the speaker hole. Once you have it apart, it is pretty obvious. When you pull the a pillar, pull straight out, since the wedge clips go in at a 90 degree angle. Direct email me if you need more help.

Thanks Ranger Dick. I might give it a try later but that's if I don't have too much Easter Ham. Someone might have to roll me out to the garage #ad
. Thanks
