Was driving down the road and a truck passed me that had those spot lights on the A piller and it got me thinking. Can I put those on my a piller? I started looking and not sure if there is room or not. Does anyone know if there is one that fits are trucks? Thanks

To answer your questions, sure anything is possible non days. I have seen many late model trucks with the A-pillar or roof mounted spotlight installed, mostly security or state vehicles. Here is a web Addy that sells what you are asking about. You could always call them or E-mail your question, but I know it is possible. Good luck and post your follow-up.

Y-Knot thanks for the info think I might call them on monday to see what they got. I still have to figure out if I want to hack into the Piller or door quite yet. Plus I would have to move my guages from the piller to the cubby hole or someplace else. Ill let everyone know what they have and if I do decide to go threw with it Ill also let yall know.

Well I looked a little closer today and it looks like the door comes up and acts like the outer A piller and looks like it would be imposable to get a light in there becuse it would have to go threw the door and a piller to get inside the cab. But Ill call tomamorw to see what the pros say.

www.JCWhitney.com has the spot/search lights. Since UP railroad was the original owner of my '86, it has one on it. Doesn't work right now though. Only requires maybe a 1/2" hole to go through the pillar.

Here is what I found out. They do make them but I am unabel to find a pic to acually see how it works. The company is Unity and there website is www.unityusa.com they make two kinds a door mounted one for trucks with out side curtan air bags and a post nount for ones with it. Part number for door mount is 229 and light number is 325V. The mount is 25 bucks and the light is 92 bucks. The post mount is a special order and requires 2 weeks to get. I wish I could find a pic of it to see how it mounts to the door. Thought I would let yall know what I found

There was a vendor at the Four Wheel Jamboree in Indianapolis last September who had a nice magnetic spotlight that rotated in all directions via a romote controle you could hold in your hand. The thing was slick!

You could just stick in on the roof, or on top of the bedrail, or wherever you wanted.
