9-11 Good for Arabs

I would like to thank all of you that replied to my question. I have been going through a rough time in my life so have not had much of a chance to reply to any reply's that you have given. As for the game box I ended up getting the new PS2 for my boy. I thought the smaller size and the amount of game's I can get for this box was a good enough deal to go this way.

P. S. Who needs a wife? She didn't like the smell of diesel anyway.

A cummins 600 has the diesel smell to it???

Good choice, I just bought the ps2 slim used on ebay with 5 games (madden 05-nhl 05-GTA San andreas-Medel of honor-socom 2- and another 1), mem card, 2 controllers, 4 controller hook up for 190 shipped. pretty good deal since everything would have cost me around 350 new...

wives are like underwear, you can always buy more for cheap

phloop, sorry to hear about the difficulties at home bud, nothing is more miserable than woman trouble.

Video games are a heck of a good outlet for frustration though, playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein online (all time favorite game) allowed me to forget my troubles for awhile during some rough health problems a few years back. Unfortunately I still have miserable DIAL-UP and can't get broadband to support gaming anymore #@$%! #@$%!

Solution? Once a month or so I go up to this Internet gaming place in Ft. Worth and play online games with broadband connection, $5 an hour for a few hours is a pretty good way to blow off steam. I get kicked around pretty brutally by the regular players but I am able to get enough frags to soothe my jangled nerves :D :-laf :-laf

Boy I hate these Nintendo-generation kids with the unbelievable lightning-fast reflexes, it sucks to be in the middle of a jump in Halo and have them running around filling you full of lead effortlessly. Someday they'll be geezers too! :-laf :-laf

I've had a NES and a SuperNintendo for years, but last Christmas bought a PS2 (slim) for my 9-year-old. He loves it, though I play nothing on it. Well, a few months ago we won an XBox in a drawing, and I just bought Sid Meier's Pirates for it. I used to play that game on an Atari 2600 (!) and was addicted long ago. I'm having a hard time getting away from it (and my son loves it too). If the world ends, it'll be with the controller in my hands trying to take one more Treasure Galleon off Cartagena.

For you guys who love Gran Tourismo, you have to try Forza Motorsport on X Box. Rent an X Box or buy one or whatever you have to do. Forza is BETTER than GT. The graphics are better. The fact that there is simulated damage that affects the way the car drives is awesome. The darn AI competitors are aggressive and will trade paint with you. The upgrades you can do to the cars are great. It gives you skid marks and tire smoke. I rearended and Eclipse so hard, the whole rear hatch flew out. It's awesome. Better than GT and I didn't think that was possible. We rented both at the same time and Forza wins, hands down.
