Been trying a Loaner EZ from HVAC this past week, and was driving home from the Sierras on a Jeep trip. It was raining in the Bay Area and the roads were slick from the first rain in a couple of months. I was towing my 68 CJ up Highway 92, the first part a two lane freeway, up about a 5% grade. It was bumper to bumper and 5-10 mph. I was in in either 2 or 3rd. Every time traffic pulled ahead, just light throttle broke the rear end loose. My son was giggling and so was I. Once traffic cleared and the freeway turned to two lane road, I headed up the hill to the turn off. In direct, at around 45, hit the first right hand turn up hill and again got on it. Big push out the back, rear end vibration from the wheel spin and a quick back off the throttle to bring it back in. Was like driving on Ice. Now I gotta trade the loaner in for my own. This box is better then Comedy Central. Ear to ear grins when ever it kicks in. What should I splain to the wife for the charge on the card in a month or so? Just had to tell you guys. Matt P. S. Doug Hatfield, this wasn't the rubicon and I haven't forgotten. Just a short trail called Deer Valley, off Highway 4. Consider it a warm up.

EZ

I know the feeling my first was allso a loaner, pulling my TT to Las Vegas and back from SLC there is no way i would be without it now. I think is was money well spent, my wife likes it too. :D :D

Ah, nothing like a man who knows when to give up, throw in the towel and do the ultimate sacrifice for his sanity. Performance Gota have it, no matter what the wife will say or how much the kids profess their undying love for you. Your doing the right thing know matter what. It can all be rationalized. Soooooo, what do you plan on buying the wife? Hmmmmmmmm!!:D :D :D

I am glad you enjoy your EZ on your ETH as I know when I first installed it on my truck it really woke the beast up. It give it quit abit of extra passing power while towing and even keeps the EGT's low. When I read about you four-wheeling in the Serria's I thought you were going to let me know when you go to the Rubicon, but I guess it was just one your quick trips. See you later.

dunno

Well, I paid Fred Swanson tonight for a loaner EZ I've had on mine for the past four days. He just put in the DTT VB/TC and stuck on the EZ for me to try. Problem is, I had been driving his y2k with EZ and DDIIs for two days, (left the Edge Comp off, tho level 2 was interesting at speed) to get a feel for what I'm after.

IMHO the EZ is nice, but by itself is not as mmm 'hot' as prior posts have lead me to believe. Don't get me wrong, you can feel it, but I only got it because I know it makes an excellent low end compliment to bigger injectors on the high end. The combo of the two puts a grin on my face. Add these mods with a fueling box, then you get the 'geez, this is a 7k# truck, NICE feeling. '

Again, I'm not knocking it. But I expected a 'bit' more after reading so many posts.
