Finally woke up

Jeep Cherokee Rust. Fix or Junk

Anyone know what they used for trailer brakes in those days? That truck appears to be an early '30's model Chevy, maybe even had mechanical brakes? It looks too small for air.

Well there are some lines dangling under the trailer. The two oval thingies on the tractor frame might be vacuum tanks ....

Yes, I wondered about those tanks, you are probably right, vacuum over hydraulic. Probably an aftermarket upgrade:-laf

How would you like to haul the Rocky Mountains with that truck back in the day?

Nick

I can't imagine it. Some of the hills that my family members tackled with little R-190 single axle trucks with tag axles are pretty steep. Climbing in first gear hoping the hell the little BD six cylinder had sack enough to make the top.

The Suicide door on the two doors is a bit on a mystery 1935 Master Deluxe seems to be the only year, however they look a bit more rounded. SNOKING

When I was a kid we had a local trucking company that had some of those Bulldog trucks and some long nose GMC's, all propane powered. They are kinda cool now but as a kid I thought they were ugly:) One of the long nose trucks had a 702 V/12 that I was in awe over, basically two 351 V/6's joined together.
