Rollercoaster Ride
FIRST: Once again, thanks all of ya'll for what you've done. I saw Larry Monday, and he wanted to truly express their gratitude to each and everyone of you for your donations, thoughts and prayers. He wanted to once again say how much it means to them for people they don't even know to go out of their way to help, and to care about what is going on in their lives. As passed on earlier, what ya'll have done here has boosted Larry and Deanna's spirits immeasurably.

Saw Larry on Tuesday. The latest rounds of tests have come back and it's not good news. The cancer is definitly malignant, and is located on the portal (sp) vein. What this means is the transplant will not be possible now. They are waiting to hear from MD Anderson medical center on possible alternative treatments, possibly chemo or radiation, I'll let you know what the docs say as soon as I hear.
The bills are starting to roll in from all these trips to the doctor, so all of ya'lls donations are really going to help, even though the transplant now appears to be ruled out. I cannot imagine the rollercoaster ride of hope and let down these folks are going through. As bad as I feel about the situation, still, it's not the same as if it were me or MY wife that I was going through this with. I don't think there is anyway to truly know what a situation like this is like unless you've been through it yourself. Those of you who pray, I ask that you really remember these folks, they need your prayers now more than ever, and please feel free to post a note that you will be remembering them, it would mean alot. Any of you who still want to donate, like I said, doctors don't work for free so please do so.
Sorry for the bummer post, but ya'll have been so super for these folks that I felt obligated to update you on their situation.
