Very interesting message board I found. I wonder if anybody can figure out who I am?



I sure did open a can of worms there, but there are some very ungrateful and ignorant people out there. I sure did light a fire over there though!



The rest of the boards is also very interesting. What a strange thing to read about people who actually disagree with us.

I may be misunderstanding you, but is there something wrong with surfing message boards? I find it an act of curiousity to uncover the other side of the story. In this one instance, I saw something posted which upset me, so I thought I would contribute the other side of the opinion fence. Am I missing something? Is trolling the same as surfing?

Surfing is definately not trolling. However, coming back here and bragging about opening up a can of worms, IS IMO. But you know what opinions are like, right?

I think you may have misunderstood my thread topic. I don't consider it bragging, just merely providing some information and insight into a topic which many of us are not familiar with. I am not clear whether or not you have an objection to this.



I suppose I could draw a parallel to the frequent postings referring to Duramax or Powerstroke message boards. We TDR members often find it interesting to read a thread comparing our trucks to other makes, and I imagine some may open the occasional "can of worms". I think this is what I did, and should be relevant to the great majority of TDR members who read the threads referring to Sept. 11.



It is just my opinion, anyway.

I got to read the message before it was deleted...



There was a posting by - someone - ughmmm, not sure who. . that called them to the carpet on some of their idiotic postings , but also the American poster wrote that "he" respected their religion and those that really practice it... and those that do are those that didnt celebrate the attacks... . all those that do celebrate that attacks should leave the USA. None of this is a religous war. . but a war on bin Laden and his followers.



The poster was "one pissed off American that wasnt blue eyed or blonde haired".....



The pissed off American said something about , spending too much time learning their religion and left no time to learn physics. . since they said it was a lie that the passport made it out of the cockpit and down to the street. . they think it couldnt happen and it was fabricated to frame the Muslims. at about 400 mph, they cant see how the passport, that was with the hijacker in the cockpit, could make through the building and onto the street!...



It seems the moderator on the list took it as a posting with messages of "hate" and took it as "harrassing" them. . so the moderator deleted the message and locked that thread. .



OOhh - and the pissed off American said that he hoped the body parts of the hijackers were spread over the top of the buildings soo the birds and rats could chew on their remains.

I guess thats the part they didnt really like...

I am starting a war over there, I think.

I found myself glowing red when I read your account, BK. I found another thread over there that essentially blamed Jews for the attacks (at least indirectly), stating the "military and industrial complex and the jews have something to gain here". I found the administrator over there contradictory, and I told him so. It will be great fun to see what he does next!

I spent some time trying to find a cached image of the posting on my HD , but soo far cant find one... .



If I do, I'll post it. .



The forum is nothing but a soap box to broadcast their own druken thoughts and to try and distance themselves, somehow from being connected to the attacks.



But noone in the US, or the TV news is trying to blame "their faith"... just bin Laden and his band of #$@#$.



My only problem is that I now have bigger fish to fry in my own life and spending anymore time replying to that moderator who's towel is wrapped too tight, just gives him more credence. .

your so right Chris, they have a need to hide behind something... . it almost seems like that moderator is trying to find a reason to bring his religion into it, while others are trying hard to seperate the bad from the good.



maybe if we reported his ISP , we might find OBL... .
