A2 w/Juice

Hi,

I received the A2 for christmas and went to install on the truck, the question I have is how can you tell if I have the A2 with juice. The only thing that was in the box was the A2 and two cables, one with two connectors and one with a green connection. Am I missing something? Or is the juice built in? Do I need to fork out more $$$$$ :{ .

For the '03 trucks the Juice does fuel pressure, so it has to connnect to the MAP sensor (blue silicone seal on a black plug) and the rail pressure sensor (orange silicone seal on a black plug) plus I'm sure there are a couple of other connections to control timing/duration (it could be the Datalink, which is a black plug with green silicone seal).



I would think it's a separate box, because the Attitude monitor is usually an option.



What do your instructions tell you?

Sounds like you just got the A2 monitor with no Juice. There should be the Juice under the hood that connects you up to every thing like JCleary said.

The A2 is the in cab monitor GPS unit, you need the Juice which is the under hood HP module, without the Juice the A2 will not operate. This has been a common issue so don't feel bad, you're not the first. Our sales of Juice only modules has spiked about two months ago when the A2 came out just because of situations like yours. Hey be glad the Juice is the cheaper of the two items, so you still got out on the good end of the stick!!!!!
