i can't make may madness because of a work commitment!!! ever have a boss like this "you have accumulated too much vacation... take some" "i'll go to may madness thank you" "except that week"

first my godson has to have a birthday party on the day the ram runners go to cummins west now this!!

i think some bombing is in order.

anyone think it would be worthwhile to go for just monday and tuesday? i am really interested in diesel 101, the tech seminars, and the goodie booths.

This is a tough problem. I recommend a five step solution to your problem:
(1) go to May Madness for just Monday and Tuesday. It will be worth your while, definitely. #ad

(2) just thinking about going back to work will make you very sick. #ad

(3) Call in sick to your work. #ad

(4) you will begin feeling better about 9PM Thursday (after the banquet--excellent food, ya' know) #ad

(5) drive back overnight. You will be really tired when you go to work Friday, and will look like you are still sick but very dedicated and going to work from your "deathbed". #ad

ok, guys, seriously... . do you think it would be worthwhile to go for monday and tuesday? after all monday is only a half day and it was what... . rv tech seminar? i've gotta to at least one function fer chrissakes!!

Monday is the RV seminar along with getting the schedule of the events. At 5 everybody heads to Carson City Dodge for a BBQ. Tuesday is the Day in the Dirt and the Devorce Derby. This is the preliminary schedule Ive read about. Ther will be a lot of BSing going on and this could have just as much knowledge as the seminars which are supposed to be Wednesday. If I were withind driving distance Id think it would be worthwhile even for 2 days. Luckily Im there for the whole week.

i've wanted one of these rigs since i saw one in hollister 5 yrs ago. i couldn't justify/afford it. i joined the tdr before i bought "olga. " matter of fact, got her off the tdr website. big fan of the truck and bigger fan of the engine. bought all the manuals, even the trouble shooting manual, even bought some cummins specific tools... ... and now this... i can't make it to one @##$%$@ event!!

i REALLY wanted to make it to may madness (as well as a ram runner meeting and cummins west but really mm)for the tech seminars, hear the different exhausts, with and w/o mufflers, see rickson and alcoa wheels up close... i'm not an rv'er and i've got dirt to ride in MUCH closer than nevada.

but hvac you've done it now you S. O. B. (son of a bomber)!! i am taking this personally and will go for monday and tuesday... not what i wanted, but better than nothing. hopefully the goodie booths will be set up.

i want you to know i've got a two day seminar in albany on wed and thurs and meeting with the calvet guy on friday to discuss a home loan. i'll be dead tired, but that's ok... i'll take one for the team!! it's either that or give olga to a more deserving home!!

According to the stuff I have seen the booths are not open till Wednesday. We are supposed to be able to set up at 5 on Tuesday. Then the hall is open all day on Wednesday. I'll be there with some of the bay crew. Look for "Performance Diesel".
