Hi guys my dad is goign to buy my 01 and wants to put a 2" fron leveling kit on it. Anyone have any good ideas on least expensive option but that is a good and reliable one? What is needed to be changed and price? Thanks

least expensive would be coil spring spacers. shock change would be needed.

also, replacement springs are available in 2. 5" lift (Skyjacker D25 is popular, others are available)

mcrossly,i just got my d-25 skyjacker springs today,i went to jegs cause theyre is no shipping charges, they r 2. 5 in and the total was 159. 00and had them in two days. they do say that without a adjustable track bar that the front end will be offset about three quarter of an in,but u do not need anything else not shocks either,i got new tires and the springs so ill post next week

I studied up on this when I did mine and ended up with - Hardest part of install was setting up frame blocking and getting stock shock top nut off. Bumpstops pop right in with no fasteners at all.

2" Daystar black poly spacers

2" Daystar black poly bump stops (2" taller than stock)

Bilstein shocks - nickle plated (2" longer than stock)

I think I got all the parts from Offroad Warehouse. The bumpstops might have come from Rocky Mountain Offroad.

I too was concerned with offsetting axle, I even checked measurements on my layout table and ended up with a 1/4 - 3/8" shift possible. Actually with the '03 TBK in I still haven't checked actual axle placement in relation to frame. It aligns correctly and drives right - and the 295/75's rub slightly on one side at full turn.

I made my own 1. 75 inch spacer and stayed with the factory shocks. I run 305-70-16 cooper discoverys on 8" wide wheels with no clearance problem.

I am running a moog trac bar and replace it every year but I think that is the nature of all of the stock type trac bars

Installed 2" KORE levelling kit last weekend. Also, replaced the track bar with adjustable bar to re-center the axle. Total cost was just over $700. The ride is sweet. Very happy with it.

KVaughn, which adjustable track bar did you use? My stocker is about worn out so I'm looking at options. Mine's on the Skyjacker drop bracket, so a stock type top mount is necessary.
