2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ? about fuel milage

i hauled a 35' fifth wheel this summer weighing in just under 10,000lbs, averaged 70 mph got 18mpg. usually get 36 without trailer.

Are you sure that you don't mean 36 kilometers per gallon? That would convert to approximately 22 miles per gallon, which is believable.

I'm stock except for the K&N filter and get 18 empty and 13 pulling my 30' 12000 lb. fifth wheel downhill with a strong w i n d at my back.

12. 8 pulling a 30 foot 12500 pound HIGH profile 5er to FL. 20. 6 empty on the way back. I ran 65 or so most of the way down and 68-72 on the way back. Karl
