Competition ? about pullin.

newbie to sled pulling here. just want some advice from who-ever voices.

i have a 05 4x4 2500 auto with 4:10's mostly stock other that intake, exhaust, chip, aux LP. i just want to know if i should be in 4 hi or low, and keep it in 2nd or D with tow/haul off? if i do 4 lo, what speed should i be ok up to (25-30 mph)? or should i just use 4 hi and just hammer down on it and hopefully get lots of wheel spin?

Use 4 lo whatever you do. If your lucky it will stay on top of drive.
