If you get yourself a take-off wheel and put the spare into the rotation then you can do a rotation with only 1 jack and no need for stands! Another side benefit to working in the spare! ;)

Man those tires are heavy! All you need are the two good stands, I would get the tall stands not the standard size, and a good bottle or floor jack to do the switch and for the love of pete don't get under there when it's on the jack. I went and got a good air impact 6 point socket to fit. 15/16th deep well. A lot of stud sticks through the nut. I don't think I would lift a dually by the pumkin. I have ~3,000 lbs on the back axel with a full tank. Anti-seize is a good idea. I thought that thing was a rock knocker not a jacking pad!

Been lifting cars and trucks, including my 2001 CTD by the pumpkins for years. If your careful where you place the jack (don't catch the edge of the cover or on a bolt) you will not damage anything. I've even jacked the front of my 2001 by the pumpkin, just high enough to take the tires off. Unless you can tell me that these pumpkins are somehow different (i. e. weaker) then normal, I will continue to do this and don't have any concerns about it.

Klenger... Jack up the back, put jack stands under the axle and take both tires off. Then just go to the front and jack up one side, put one of the rear tires on it, lower it, jack up the other side and do the same. then take those tires to the back and replace them. It's just that simple... ;)
