Need help guys. Lost my power windows, speedometer and the ABS and Air Bag idiot lights are on. I was installing my BD X-monitor gauges and tried to tie into the power source for the ignition switch. Like a dummy, I failed to disconnect the battery before doing so. I think I shorted out something in the process. I've read some threads on similar symptoms, but none seem to have all the symptoms I do. I think I may have done something to the Chrysler Collision Detection Bus. Any ideas?

Short ?

Before doing any thing drastic . Disconnect the two batteries ground wires. Then check the wires you have installed , wait for at least ten or more Min after removing any suspected wrong connection . Reconnect battery grounds . See if lights go out . After reconnect it may take some time for the computer to reset . Ron Bissett in Metro Louisville KY
