While driving to work this morning, after about 4 miles, my ABS and BRAKE lights came on, steady, not blinking. I did not test the brakes to see if I could get the ABS to engage, but I assumed that if I were to stand on the brakes now, I would lock up all 4.

I turned the truck off and started it again, and the lights stayed on. Don't know if the -30 degrees air temp (-62 wind chill) has any thing to do with it.

Any ideas? Did I trip a code and it takes a few start cycles to make the lights clear?

Thanks.

My lights come on when it dips below 2 deg F. It definitley seems to be temp related. I tried pulling the codes, but nothing shows up. Brakes and ABS still work fine. .

Straight6, so this happens to you all them time, and when it warms up, the lights turn off again? That's strange. I'm probably going to have the stealership take a look at it.

We have had colder than normal average temps here in the last month or so...

My ABS light came on and stayed on for several days when the temps never got above -5 or so during the day... Lows to -24 at night...

While the ABS light was shining, the brakes worked fine ABS and all...

Went off one day when it got above zero...

Still Stops on a dime... :D
