While getting my FASS put in my ABS light comes on. Mechanic replaces the speed sensor and erases the code but the light and code both come back.

Any ideas??

The only time I saw mine go on was when I got stuck in the snow and accidentally drove in reverse with the parking brake on.

Maybe you have the wires to the FASS too close to the ABS signal wires?

my abs/brake light will come on when i am playing around and i get too great of a speed difference between the front wheels and the rear wheels;). . just tapping the brake pedal will clear that light for me

It has been narrowed down to the EBCM (electronic brake control module).

In the last month I have spent -

$598 - Common rail pressure sensor

$698 - EBCM

$850 - FASS

$37 - Speed sensor

Not to mention Ive lost about $3,000 in work. She ran perfect for the first 130,000 miles. Been thru 3 lift pumps and now electronic issues. If this keeps up, a new dmax might be in order.

I think you are absolutely right. After all, they use a much better injection system. The Edge EZ probably killed your CR pressure sensor and you have bombed your truck becoming your own warranty station. It must be Dodge's fault.

I think the dealer is pulling your leg, probably found a loose wire and are going to charge you for a new EBCM.

Bennett- I became my own warranty station 10 months after i bought my truck (10,000 miles per month x 10 months)

I'm going to get my truck monday morning and swap my wifes EBCM with mine to make sure thats the problem. If it is, I'll take my wifes truck to a different dealer to get it fixed under waranty. She's only got 10,000 miles on her truck.

What'ya think?

Another thing to try is disconnecting power to the FASS but I don't know if the lift pump can suck through it, you may have to bypass it.

If the problem goes away then it's electrical noise.
