My father-in-law has a Haynes book for models up to 1998. I was reading it regarding the ABS braking system and it said that you could retrieve the codes stored in the ECM by grounding pin 13 (I think) on the connector under the dash. Does anyone know if this applies to the 1999 and newer also? I'm still trying to figure out why my ABS and brake lights are on. I've checked the connections, replaced front brake pads, cleaned the rear wheel speed sensor and my speedometer works fine. :(

This can happen when you drive a few miles under 35 mph with foot on the brake. Dont know why, but it happens. Dealer should be able to reset it at no charge. :)
