Good Luck

I got tired of seeing those stupid lights on in my 96' , so after I changed the rear sensor (as you did) I finally took it to my local dealer, Turns out that it was a wire under the dash (blue, approx. 18 ga. ) that had a short. It cost me 100. 00 for them to find it and fix it , but no lights anymore. I don't know about you but if it would have cost 500 dollars it would have been worth it.

Check all your vacuum lines and connectors. I had a crimped and leaking line on a module located under the battery on the drivers side. You can't see it unless you remove the battery tray. I couldn't see my problem, but I could feel it Took out the tray, fixed the line, no more problems.

I also had a small hole in one of my vaccum lines. I just wrapped the line with duct tape and ABS and brake lights went out.
