Both the ABS and Brake light came on after left hand turn at a stop light. Happened a couple miles from home after a 680 mile trip, mostly in the rain. I suspect it might be the left front wheel sensor since the sensor housing came apart during removal from the EMS mount (the aluminum corrodes and grabs hold of the plastic cylinder part of the sensor). That was a few thousand miles ago.

Anyhow, is there any way to pull the codes with a Smarty or some other way than going to the $$$ dealer?

Not that I noticed. Nothing unusual what so ever. I was pulling a trailer at the time, though that should not matter. I read some posts on terminals corroding, but I'm hoping for a simple sensor issue.

brods,

I'm 99% sure you've got to use a Chrysler DRBIII scan tool to pull trouble codes from the CAB (brake computer). They're definitely not standard OBDII complaint codes.

Maybe if you tell everyone what area of Michigan you're in someone with a DRBIII might be able to come to the rescue?

Good luck,

I'm by Ann Arbor. Drove the truck today and the warning lights were off. Guess I'll wait and see what happens next.
