2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ABS Light ON ???

Hello I have a problem with the ABS light it remain on all time and also the remote for cd player will not work, and the cruise control to!!Please help!!!

I have the same ABS problem. I have done a search and it seems it is usually a fuse blown out or the sensor on the rear differential.

Airbag light on!!!

Have a problem Airbag light remains on all time also cruisecontroland remote for the radio will not work.

Symptoms sound like the infamous "clockspring" trouble.



Did you hear a "crunching" noise coming from the steering wheel area just before the lightshow?

This affects all the steering wheel mounted controls radio, cruise, and usually lights the airbag and ABS lights.

If you're under warranty, a trip to the dealer is in your immediate future.

It sounds like the clock spring... . wonder if a dealer would mail him parts for him to do the repair himself??

Hello from SWEDEN that would be nice if any dealer will send parts to me. Nice Truck!! JR2 same colur as my brothers -01 .

Definately a clockspring... ... ... ... ..... been there, done that. Bet you that your cruise control doesn't work either. There was a recall on this but it sounds like it won't do ya any good.
