My truck is a 95 2500 5sp. I do a decent amount of towing. Anytime that I am backing down an incline with a trailer (regardless of how steep) maintaining constant (light or heavy) pressure on the brakes the ABS engages. I am not pumping the brakes or slamming them on. Once the ABS engages with a heavy load it's like trying to use the brakes with the engine turned off. Therefore anytime I have to back down a steep incline I put it into 4 low to maintain some type of control. Even that gets harry some times. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Thomas
