Archived Abs pump and lights on!

03 2500 4x4,ABS light and brake lights on,abs pump running and wont stop even if truck is off. Any suggestions??

Pull connector to ABS or you mite try pulling fuse for it. Then try to pull codes with key method or scanner. You can also take it to a shop or dealer.

I had the same thing happen last year and it was the ABS controller. I had to unplug it to get the pump to stop running. Once you do that you won't have ABS, but the brakes and speedo will still work. I ordered a new controller from an online oem parts site and installed it myself. However, it throws an ABS code that can only be cleared with a DRB 3 scan tool. I took it to a dealer and had them clear it.

this is my first time on the tdr roundtable, hope i am not in the wrong spot? any way, i have the same problem on my 2000 4x4 2500 the abs and brake lights came on a few days ago. i discovered that the abs pump would not quit running, i pulled the abs fuse which was the only way it would stop even with the ignition off. i have since checked my front wheel sensors and the rear wheel sensor on the diff. no problems found. i have ask several parts suppliers what they thought the problem could be with no positive results. based on what i have read on this sight i will try a new abs controller.
